Zingerman's Roadhouse Dinner
Zingerman’s Roadhouse is home to an annual dinner that benefits the U-M Transplant Center. Each year, transplant medicine doctors and transplant surgeons take turns staffing the event — as waiters. This year it's our medicine doctors.
The patio at Zingerman's is such a great atmosphere in the summer. We start with wine and appetizers, enjoy dinner and dessert, and then a fun live auction.
The menu is always a fantastic collage of flavors created especially for the event by Chef Alex Young.
We'll feast on a buffet of appetizers including an Artisanal Cheese Board, Mini Maryland Crab Cakes, Jerked Lamb Kebabs (and wine, of course).
Our dinner entrees will be Chicken Fiorentine or the vegetarian option of Farro Picollo Risotto.
And dessert from Zingerman's Bakehouse is Fresh Fruit Pavlova.
It's a fun night with great food, wine and friends all gathered to celebrate organ transplant and support the U-M Transplant Center.
